Wasphawks get 1 Star Of The Week..

The Wasphawks end up with 1 star of the week, but not in goalie as expected.
Defensemen Jeno Andras ends up with 5 assist and +6 in only 3 games due to the
default win.

Saku Harikali plays 3 games and has 94% saves. He faced 51 shots and stopped 48.
With the default win it appears Saku's numbers did not warrant a Star Of The Week.
Management has put in an official protest.

After 500 start..

Wasphawks respond with 4 straight league wins.

6-0 shutout at home vs Evil Runts
4-2 win on the road at HCTALLIN
3-0 DEFAULT win vs Tigersharks (Rumoured to have shown up in Vegas
instead of Salt Lake City)
2-1 tough win on the raod at Urban Myths

With those wins the Wasphawks move from #12 to #7.

Even though starting goalie Saku Harikali has seen his form drop to
well below 40, he played a very good week.

10 Games into season 12.. update

Wasphawks win 2 straight and pull to 500, and a BIG multiplayer deal is lurking...

10 games into the season the Wasphawks are 5 wins 5 losses.
They have also let in 39 goals while scoring 39.

Management blames the poor start on starting goalie Saku Harikali being injured
for 6 days, along with some mental errors being made on the ice, and personal
problems being made off the ice. The team also has played 2 more road games
than home games, so they hope home ice advantage will help in the future.

Management is trying to make a deal with the USA mens World Cup soccer team.
The deal would send all of the current Wasphawk players to Germany to get smoked
by the Italians and Ghana team, and in return the US team would send their entire
squad to league III.1 to get smoked by the Bru-crew and Urban Myths squads.

"80s Retro Night" at the Iri Ice

Salt Lake City --- The Wasphawks, in conjunction with iSPN and a major
sports clothing line, will be conducting a "80s Retro Night" at the
Lockout vs. Wasphawks game this Thursday at the Iri Ice.
The Wasphawks will wear uniforms worn in the 1980s, and iSPN will create
television graphics that were used during this era as well. Commentators
Mike Patrick , Len Elmore, and Doris Burke will adorn 80s attire, and
Wasphawks management is encouraging spectators to do the same as well.

"It should be a fun night. Our fans will enjoy seeing the old v-neck
sweaters as we have had many requests for the team to bring these back
for one game," said Associate Athletic Director Peter von Seivers. "We
are encouraging fans to dress in 80s attire if they would like, and we
are planning various activities in the arena that will involve an 80s
theme."
Throughout they game, activities will include; Wasphawks historical
elements displayed on the video boards, 80s music played throughout
the arena, and a best dressed contest that will offer the winner a shot
at winning a 1984 Ford Pinto.
